Free Publicity Opportunities for Exhibitors at Toy Fair 2018

January 9, 2018 | Exhibitors at the 115th North American International Toy Fair are invited to take advantage of free publicity opportunities to maximize their media exposure leading up to and during the show. The Toy Association is reminding exhibitors to sign up soon, as deadlines are fast approaching: 

  • Free Listing in theToy Fair Online Press Room (Deadline: January 17 at 5 p.m. (Eastern))
    Toy Fair’s Online Press Room is a valuable tool that allows exhibitors to post their company profiles, press releases, and other pertinent information for the media. All exhibitors receive a complimentary “virtual” news page that includes a 50-word company backgrounder and logo; list of PR contacts with mobile numbers; a link to the exhibitor’s website; and links to the exhibitor’s social media accounts, if applicable. Additional services, from posting press releases to wire service distributions, are available for an additional fee. To secure a listing, fill out the submission form and choose "Company listing (FREE)" for the package.   • Annual Product Preview (Deadline to make an appointment: February 9)
    Exhibitors are encouraged to schedule a 15-minute appointment during The Toy Association’s annual Product Preview, which will take place on Friday, February 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Press Center at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, South Concourse. This is a great opportunity for exhibitors to share information about their key new products so that members of the Toy Fair PR Team can educate media about products and companies at the show. Note: Due to a limited number of available appointments, Toy Association members are given first preference during scheduling; non-member exhibitors will be seen on an as-available basis.

    In addition, all companies that participate in The Toy Association’s Product Preview will be allowed to provide one product image for a “new product showcase” video loop that will play in the Press Center throughout the show. Additional information will be provided when appointments are confirmed.
