Mark Your Calendars: Upcoming Webinar on Tailoring Toys to Nurture Child Development

July 25, 2017 | Save the date for a webinar hosted by The Toy Association that will highlight key milestones in child development and educate companies on how they can tailor their toys and games to help kids master those skills. Webinar registration is now open and is complimentary for members of The Toy Association.

Taking place on August 24 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), the one-hour webinar, “Understanding Child Development: How Toy Companies Can Help Kids Achieve Critical Developmental Milestones,” will educate attendees on the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional developmental stages that kids go through and encourage toy companies to create engaging and fun toys and digital content that supports and nurtures these milestones through play. 

The presentation will be feature Dr. Amanda Gummer, PhD, the founder and CEO of Fundamentally Children and a play expert for The Genius of Play, The Toy Association’s consumer-facing initiative to provide parents and caregivers with the information they need to make play an important part of a child’s day. Fundamentally Children is the UK’s leading source of expert, independent advice on child development and play, supporting children’s industries with research, insight, and endorsement. The session will be moderated by moderated by Jackie Retzer, The Toy Association’s assistant marketing manager.

The webinar is open to all members, though recommended for those in toy and license product development, marketing, and advertising. Non-members are required to pay a fee for webinar access. As always, a recording of the session will be made available for those are unable to participate live.
