LAST CHANCE: Reserve Your Tickets for the TOTY Gala
February 6, 2017 | There’s still time to reserve your tickets for the exclusive 17th Annual Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards, where toy executives from around the world will gather to celebrate the top toys of the year and honor the latest inductees into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame.
Tickets may be purchased through February 10th; the ceremony will take place on Friday evening, February 17th at The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City.
Annually hosted by the Toy Industry Association (TIA), the TOTY Awards are known as the “Oscars” of the toy industry and serve as the official kick off to the North American International Toy Fair. This year’s gala will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail networking reception including hors d’oeuvres, followed by a plated dinner and dessert during the awards ceremony.
Throughout the night, toy, game, and license winners across 14 categories (including six new categories) will be announced, as well as the “People’s Choice” award, based solely on consumer votes, and the overall “Toy of the Year” award, selected by retailers, consumers, journalists, and TIA members. Attendees will also enjoy live entertainment and a special tribute to the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF), which brings toys and games to millions of kids who are sick, impoverished, or otherwise in need.
Tickets for the event are $395 per person or $3,950 per table (reserved tables seat 10 people). To reserve tickets or tables, interested parties may register via the online form.
