Countdown to the New PlayCon!

May 1, 2018 | With just one week to go before PlayCon officially kicks off anticipation is growing. Toy and play professionals won’t want to miss this informative and educational conference, taking place next week in San Francisco, CA.

The event has a new conference format, featuring short “TED-Talk”-like sessions and content based on four key pillars: Opportunities & Growth, Creativity, Innovation, and Inspiration that is sure to get ideas flowing from attendees. PlayCon has lined up two dozen diverse speakers spanning the gamut of thought leaders, notable toy and consumer-industry executives, influential names in creative communities, and top industry research partners all likely to inspire toy, play, and youth entertainment executives to find their next big idea.

The Toy Association is also hosting an open forum prior to PlayCon’s official opening on Tuesday, May 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the SF Jazz Center. The forum will focus on succeeding over bankruptcies and retail disruption and is open to all toy and play professionals at no cost (registration for PlayCon is not required).
