Toy Fair is a trade-only event

Attended by retailers, distributors, importers, wholesalers, sales representatives, and trade guests. This event is not open to the public.

Registration for Toy Fair is exclusively online. There will NOT be any on-site registration at the Javits Center.

No one under age 18 is admitted. Infants are not allowed entry to Toy Fair. All attendees are qualified based on their primary business. Any misrepresentation will bar you and/or your organization from this and future Toy Association events. Approval to attend Toy Fair in prior years does not guarantee entry. Credentials (in English) must be submitted for each registrant. Toy Fair reserves the right to request additional credentials if deemed necessary. All approved registrants may be required to submit proof of identity.

Retailer Credentials REQUIRED

Brick & Mortar Retailers must submit the following company credentials:

  • Two (2) wholesale invoices (billed to registered company within last 12 months) showing the company's purchases of finished products from toy manufacturers (if no toy invoices are available, the minimum number of invoices required still needs to be submitted)
  • If available, company website that directly sells multiple branded products to an end consumer (this website must be entered during the registration process)

Brick & Mortar Retailer Start-ups (unable to provide invoices) must submit each of the following credentials:

  • Active store/commercial lease with verifiable address and type of business
  • Letter of intent to conduct business on letterhead from a lawyer or bank

E-Commerce Retailers (not selling on Amazon or eBay) must submit/enter each of the following credentials:

  • Two (2) wholesale invoices (billed to registered company within last 12 months) showing the company's purchases of finished products from toy manufacturers (if no toy invoices are available, the minimum number of invoices required still needs to be submitted)
  • Company website that directly sells multiple branded products to an end consumer (this website must be entered during the registration process; inactive or under construction websites will require additional credentials)

Third-Party Resellers (selling on Amazon, eBay, etc. with no brick & mortar store) must submit/enter each of the following credentials:

  • Minimum of six (6) wholesale invoices (billed to registered company within last 12 months) showing the company's purchases of finished products from toy manufacturers from toy manufacturers (if no toy invoices are available, the minimum number of invoices required still needs to be submitted)
  • Previous year's 1099-K for your registered company (current year 1099-K is required if previous year not available)
  • Complete third-party reseller website address (this must be entered during the registration process with minimum advertised prices listed for all toy manufacturer's products) (amazon.com, for example, is not an acceptable website for a third-party reseller; inactive or under construction websites will require additional credentials)

Other Retailers (include locations where products are sold such as Cons, Events, Festivals, Street Fairs, etc.*) must submit/enter each of the following credentials:

  • Two (2) wholesale invoices (billed to registered company within last 12 months) showing the company's purchases of finished products from toy manufacturers (if no toy invoices are available, the minimum number of invoices required still needs to be submitted)
  • Seller agreement (must be current and signed & dated by all parties)
  • Photos of set up at location where products are being sold
  • If available, website that clearly shows the event/location of where products will be sold (this website must be entered during the registration process)

    * Companies selling products out of a residential location will not be approved as a retailer.

Retailer Employee Identification

Retailers must submit one (1) form of employee ID:

  • Business tax identification document
  • Official documentation confirming employment with company
  • Business photo I.D. (must display company name, your photo, and full name)
  • Photograph of your business card (company name, address, and personal name must match the information in your registration, including your job title; digital renderings of business cards are not acceptable)
  • Active LinkedIn profile
  • Canceled company payroll check or pay-check stub
  • Previous year’s tax form
  • Company insurance card with employee’s name

DISTRIBUTOR / IMPORTER / WHOLESALER CREDENTIALS REQUIRED

Distributors, Importers and Wholesalers must submit each of the following credentials:

  • Four (4) recent wholesale invoices (billed to registered company within last 12 months) showing the company's bulk purchases of finished products from toy manufacturers (if no toy invoices are available, the minimum number of invoices required still needs to be submitted)(Pro-forma documents are not an accepted credential for an invoice)
  • Brokerage agreements from multiple manufacturers (must be current, signed, and dated by all parties)
  • If available, brochures or catalogs which show brands represented, product selection, and inventory
  • If available, company website through which business can be validated (this must be entered during the registration process; inactive or under construction websites will require additional credentials)

Distributor / Importer / Wholesaler Employee Identification

Distributors, importers, and wholesalers must submit one (1) form of employee ID:

  • Official documentation that confirms employment with the company
  • Business tax identification document
  • Business photo I.D. (must display company name, your photo, and full name)
  • Photograph of your business card (company name, address, and personal name must match the information in your registration, including your job title; digital renderings of business cards are not acceptable)
  • Active LinkedIn profile
  • Canceled company payroll check or pay-check stub
  • Previous year’s tax form
  • Company insurance card with employee’s name

Sales Representative Credentials REQUIRED

Sales Representatives must submit at least one (1) of the following credentials:

  • List of current exhibiting product or brand lines represented along with contact name and email for each line
  • If not currently representing any exhibitors’ lines, an invitation from the exhibitor confirming you have a Toy Fair appointment to represent a product line

Sales Representative Employee Identification

Sales representatives must submit one (1) form of employee ID:

  • Canceled commission check from exhibiting company
  • If not currently representing any exhibitors’ lines, copy of canceled commission check from any industry company from last 24 months
  • Official documentation that confirms employment with the company
  • Photograph of your business card (company name, address, and personal name must match the information in your registration, including your job title). Digital renderings of business cards are not acceptable.
  • Active LinkedIn profile
  • Previous year’s tax form

Trade Guest Credentials REQUIRED

Trade Guests must submit at least two (2) of the following credentials:

  • Invitation from exhibitor confirming you have a Toy Fair appointment
  • Certification, professional designation, or membership in an industry association validating your business
  • Business license showing company's affiliation to the toy industry
  • Company website that clearly outlines the company’s function

Trade Guest Employee Identification

Trade guests must submit one (1) form of employee ID:

  • Official documentation that confirms employment with the company
  • Business photo I.D. (must display company name, your photo, and full name)
  • Photograph of your business card (company name, address, and personal name must match the information in your registration, including your job title; digital renderings of business cards are not acceptable)
  • Active LinkedIn profile
  • Canceled company payroll check or pay-check stub
  • Previous year’s tax form
  • Company insurance card with employee’s name

Toy Fair is open to qualified, registered and approved press only. No press representative under 18, including infants, will be admitted (see exception under YouTube Influencers).

Please note: Approval to attend Toy Fair in prior years does not guarantee entry or waive any requirements. Misrepresentation of position and/or publication/news organization will bar you and your organization from all future Toy Association events. Toy Association management reserves the right to request additional documentation for press approval if deemed necessary.

 

Press Credentials

Credentialed, global press are invited to register to attend Toy Fair. All members of the press must apply annually with the latest accurate credentials to attend Toy Fair. Required credentials for Press can be found here.

RETAILERS / DISTRIBUTORS / IMPORTERS / WHOLESALERS / SALES REPRESENTATIVES / PRESS / GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES

Free admission to all qualified registrants.

Trade Guests

Toy Association members:

A limited number of complimentary badges are provided to full-time employees* of Toy Association member companies. Depending on the number of badges requested, additional fees may apply.

Non-members:

  • $195 through December 31, 2024
  • $295 beginning January 1, 2025

*Third party consultants, service providers, seasonal workers, etc. are not eligible for Toy Association member complimentary entry.

Non-Exhibiting Vendors and/or Manufacturers

Toy Association members:

2 (two) complimentary badges* for non-exhibiting member companies (in good standing). Additional badges will be $500 per badge.

*Third party consultants, service providers, seasonal workers, etc. are not eligible for Toy Association member entry.

Non-members:

$3,900 per person
