President’s Letter – 2nd Annual Play Fair Delivers Brand-Building Fun for Families & Toy Fans
Steve Pasierb, The Toy Association’s president & CEO, shares with members the success of the second annual Play Fair, the Association’s dedicated business-to-consumer event designed to help members further build their brands by connecting directly with kids and parents. The event was held November 4 to 5 at the Javits Center in New York City, and expanded to more than 230,000 square feet of space – three times its previous size – bringing together toy and play fans of all ages under one roof for countless memorable experiences with their favorite toys and brands.
Fall Toy Preview Exhibitors: Register Now to Secure a Spot for 2018
Registration is open to secure a spot at Fall Toy Preview 2018, taking place October 2 to 4, 2018 in Dallas, TX. Returning exhibitors that participated in this year’s show have until December 31 to submit their application to be included in the first round of space assignments.
2018 Toy of the Year (TOTY) Award Finalists Unveiled by The Toy Association
The toy, game, and license finalists for the prestigious 2018 Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards were unveiled this evening by The Toy Association. Known as the “Oscars” of the toy industry, the TOTY Awards program supports children in need by serving as a critical fundraiser for the Toy Industry Foundation.

New York Toy Fair Ranks No. 37 on Annual Gold 100 Trade Show Ranking
The Toy Association’s North American International Toy Fair ranked at No. 37 on Trade Show Executive magazine’s Gold 100 List of the largest and most-accomplished trade shows in the country in 2016. The rankings were announced at the Gold 100 Awards & Summit held September 27 to 29 at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, CA.
