Fall Toy Preview: What You Need to Know
August 21, 2017 | With just six weeks to go, The Toy Association is busy getting ready for Fall Toy Preview, taking place October 3 to 5 in Dallas, TX, and has several updates to share with attendees.
- To help companies do business before, during, and after the show, The Toy Association is offering all Fall Toy Preview exhibitors a complimentary premium subscription to ShopToys365, the play community’s digital marketplace that connects global buyers with suppliers. A premium subscription allows exhibitors access to all the features included in a basic subscription – like profile creation and customer traffic tracking – in addition to being able to view retail buyer profiles, receive orders from buyers, and benefit from lead generation, among other perks.
- Before the show opens, exhibitors and buyers are invited to attend a free ShopToys365 training session at the Dallas Market Center on Monday, October 2 at 3 p.m. The session will include demonstrations and offer one-on-one assistance. STF365 experts will also be on hand throughout the show to offer in-booth demonstrations to exhibitors and training to buyers in the Buyers’ Lounge.
- At 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the Atrium Lobby, The Toy Association will host a morning meeting open to all attendees. At the meeting, members will vote to review and approve a range of updates to the Association’s bylaws. In addition, the Board of Directors will be available to take questions from members and hear ideas for the organization’s future. Continental breakfast will be served.
- All Fall Toy Preview guests are invited to attend the show’s annual opening night party in the Grand Pavilion atrium of the Dallas Market Center. Exhibiting companies will receive two free tickets. Additional tickets are $25 each, with proceeds going to the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF). Guests can mingle with industry friends and enjoy food, cocktails, and live entertainment – all for a good cause.
Fall Toy Preview will showcase thousands of innovative new playthings available for 2018 from more than 300 registered exhibitors, including ALEX Brands, American Plastic Toys, Craz-Z-Art, Jazwares, Kahootz, Klutz, Magformers, Melissa & Doug, PlayMonster, TOMY, and Wicked Cool Toys, among many others. Throughout the three-day show, exhibitors will do business with hundreds of global buyers from both mass and high-volume specialty retail outlets, including Toys“R”Us, Walmart, Target, Marshalls/TJ Maxx, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Michaels Stores, JC Penney, Party City, and Hobby Lobby.
