Fall Toy Preview ’17: Book Your Product Preview Appointment & Take Advantage of Special Networking Opportunities

September 18, 2017 | Fall Toy Preview is just two weeks away. The Toy Association is reminding toy companies to book their product preview appointments and participate in a special networking event during the show, taking place October 3 to 5 in Dallas, TX.

Trend-Spotting Appointments

Exhibiting toy companies are reminded to book product preview appointments with The Toy Association’s trends team before heading to the show. The team will be at the Dallas Market Center scouting new toys and games to determine next year’s biggest trends in toys, play, and youth entertainment. The top trends will be unveiled in February to media, buyers, and other industry players at the 115^th North American International Toy Fair in New York City and incorporated in the Association’s media messaging throughout 2018. The preview appointments can also mean media exposure for participating companies – Toy Association trend experts are continually on the lookout for new and innovative playthings for upcoming broadcast and editorial opportunities.

Fall Toy Preview exhibitors interested in booking a 15-minute on-site appointment with a member of the trends team should contact Deanna Speziale. Preference for preview appointments is given to Toy Association members.

Calling all Young Professionals

Young toy professionals are invited to a networking cocktail party on day two of the show. The Toy Association’s Young Professionals Network (YPN), an initiative that supports the growth, development, and retention of young professionals in the toy industry, will host the event on Wednesday, October 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Gossip Bar at the Hilton Anatole near the Market Center.

Attendees should bring their business card for free admission to the event. A cash bar will be available and light appetizers will be served. Toy Association member company representatives as well as LIMA members will receive one complimentary drink.
