Toy Fair Post-Show Tips: Learn How to Leverage the Online Press Office Year-Round

February 27, 2017 | The 114th North American International Toy Fair may be over but exhibitors can continue attracting media attention to their products and brands all year long. For those that took advantage of the show’s Virtual Press Office, the Toy Industry Association (TIA) will offer a special webinar, “Toy Fair Online Press Office: Post Show Tips & Tricks,” on March 9th at 3 p.m. (Eastern) to share strategies on how to utilize the Online Press Kit throughout the rest of the year.

The free one-hour session will discuss: how to follow-up with media after the show; how to leverage social media in your outreach efforts; how to use breaking news stories to your advantage; how to analyze Online Press Kit and PR Newswire reports; and other best practices to secure media placement post-show.

Presenters will include Gina Dennis, event marketing manager at Virtual Press Office and Erienne Muldoon, senior customer content specialist at Virtual Press Office. The webinar is best suited for Toy Fair exhibitors and subscribers to the Virtual Press Office Online Press Kit who are involved with public relations, marketing, advertising, and social media promotions.

“More than 1,000 members of the global press attended Toy Fair to get a look at the newest and hottest toys and trends, but for maximum media exposure, companies both large and small should continue their PR outreach all year long,” says Adrienne Appell, TIA’s director of strategic communications and the webinar’s moderator. “This is a must-attend webinar to learn how to generate buzz about products and brands even after Toy Fair.”

Registration for the webinar is now open. As with all TIA webinars, the session will be recorded and available post-event for those who are unable to participate live.
