New Toy Fair Exhibitors: Don’t Forget to Register for the Freshman Class Webinar

November 29, 2016 | Those who are anxious about preparing for their very first time exhibiting at Toy Fair will be happy to know that there are still a few days left to register for the Toy Industry Association’s (TIA) upcoming free webinar for new exhibitors.

Taking place on Thursday, December 1st at 2 p.m. (Eastern), the one-hour session will provide tips and tools to prepare for the event and other essential information so that Toy Fair is seamless and productive for exhibitors as they conduct business throughout the show. The webinar will be led by representatives from TIA’s meetings & events team as well as a representative from Freeman, Toy Fair’s official show decorator, to provide answers to commonly asked questions.

The many rules and requirements for show exhibitors can be overwhelming and confusing for those new to exhibiting. The webinar presenters will seek to answer attendees’ questions, including:

I’ve contracted exhibit space…now what?

How do I get my stuff to Toy Fair?

What can I do to stand out from the crowd?

The presenters will also share best practices to ensure a successful show, such as staffing your booth accordingly and housing and incidental needs for the duration of the event.

“We strongly encourage new exhibitors to join us for the December 1st webinar,” said Irena Jaroszewski, TIA event coordinator and the webinar’s moderator. “As one of the largest annual U.S. trade shows, Toy Fair can be daunting, yet first-timers can feel confident they will have the resources available to them so they can focus on doing what they do best – displaying and selling their toys and playthings.”
